Description

Introducing PiggyBackNot! v3 — the third generation of the popular Amiga 600 1MB Chip RAM expansion.

In this version, we’ve integrated RGB2HDMI functionality by implementing three ICs from the original RGB2HDMI board directly into the compact XC9536XL CPLD. This major enhancement allows full compatibility with all turbo cards for the Amiga 600 while using RGB2HDMI simultaneously.

The RGB2HDMI is now built into the memory expansion, enabling the Amiga 600’s video to be output as a crisp digital HDMI signal via a Raspberry Pi Zero 2w. Additionally, the board features a socket for a battery-backed real-time clock (RTC chip not included) and offers three extra clock ports for expanded connectivity.

Features:

  • 1MB of CHIP RAM
  • RGB2HDMI integration (requires Raspberry Pi Zero 1, 2W, or Pi 3)
  • Socket for battery-backed real-time clock (RTC)
  • Three clock expansion ports
  • CR1220 battery holder (battery not included)
  • Raspberry Pi Zero module not included — available as an optional add-on
