⚙️ Configuration for MiSTer FPGA:
To enable 15 kHz RGB output via SCART, you need to update the mister.ini configuration file.
We strongly recommend backing up your existing 📄 mister.ini before applying this changes:
- forced_scandoubler = 0
- composite_sync = 1
- vga_scaler = 0
- direct_video = 0 **
* This option should be set to 1 (enabled) only when using HDMI-to-VGA DAC dongles with Direct Video. If enabled without a DAC, it may result in incorrect colors.
Note: The Scandoubler setting in the OSD menu (accessed with F12) should be set to OFF for all cores.
⚙️ Configuration for Analogue DAC:
-
When using this cable with the Analogue DAC, please ensure that the firmware is up to date and that “RGB Composite Sync” is enabled in the Advanced Settings.
⚙️ Configuration for ZX Spectrum NEXT / N-GO
-
When using this cable with the ZX Spectrum NEXT, stay pressing key “R” during the boot to set the 15 kHz RGB mode.
